| Production Process |
|
| Vapourised very pure methanol is catalytically dehydrated to yield Dimethyl ether in a fix-bed reactor by using a catalyst. The reactor effluent is charged to the Dimethyl ether distillation section. The remaining methanol / water mixture is charged to the methanol distillation tower, the methanol is brought back in the methanol stream. Water is the only by-product of the production process. |
